His journey began at just 17 years old, when he started working as a shop assistant—fondly known as a “shop rat”—for Hobart, a leading name in commercial food equipment. With a strong work ethic and a passion for the trade, Jerry steadily climbed the ranks, eventually becoming the Branch Manager of Hobart’s Spokane, Washington office.
Over the decades, Jerry has built a reputation for integrity, technical excellence, and unwavering commitment to customer service. His deep understanding of the commercial kitchen and foodservice landscape laid the foundation for the establishment and growth of Oregon Food Equipment, where he now serves as President and Owner.
