His journey began at just 17 years old, when he started working as a shop assistant—fondly known as a “shop rat”—for Hobart, a leading name in commercial food equipment. With a strong work ethic and a passion for the trade, Jerry steadily climbed the ranks, eventually becoming the Branch Manager of Hobart’s Spokane, Washington office.

Over the decades, Jerry has built a reputation for integrity, technical excellence, and unwavering commitment to customer service. His deep understanding of the commercial kitchen and foodservice landscape laid the foundation for the establishment and growth of Oregon Food Equipment, where he now serves as President and Owner.

Under Jerry’s leadership, Oregon Food Equipment has grown from a service-focused business into a full-service provider of both new and used food equipment, offering comprehensive sales, service, and support across Oregon and beyond. With a legacy rooted in hard work and hands-on expertise, Jerry continues to mentor the next generation while guiding the company forward with the same principles that shaped his career from day one.

 Bryson Jorgensen is the General Manager of Oregon Food Equipment, a leading provider of commercial food equipment sales and service across the state of Oregon. With a foundation built on decades of family experience in the industry, Bryson has led the company through a period of rapid growth, expanding its reach and reputation in both the food service and food retail sectors.
